
The end of the FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax) year is quickly approaching and depending on the benefits you’re packaging and those you’re eligible to package, you may have already heard from us about what you need to do to make the most of your tax savings for this FBT year.

Changes to your arrangements - 2 weeks before final pay of this FBT year
Any change to your salary packaging deductions must be requested well ahead of the pay you want the change to take effect. View the factsheet to know how to change your deductions.
Spend your balance - Any balance in accounts must be $0 by 31 March 2026
On 1 April, any unspent funds will count towards your 2026/27 annual limit, reducing the amount you can salary package next FBT year.
All claims for balances currently held in salary packaging accounts must be received by 6:00 pm (AEDT) on Monday, 16 March, 2026 to ensure they’re processed before the end of the FBT year. Claims received after this date may not be processed before 31 March.
