Novated leasing

Salary packaging a car – also known as a novated lease – could be a cost-effective way to buy and run a car. Like other salary packaging arrangements, you could receive great tax savings on the finance and running costs. 

Quick Facts
Novated leases can be on new and used vehicles (up to 15 years of age at the end of the lease)
There are no minimum kilometres required
You don’t have to use your vehicle for business purposes
You are not limited to one novated lease
You have freedom to choose the make, model, colour and all the other features and optional extras on your vehicle
A novated lease comes with the convenience of fuel cards from the major fuel companies

Approved Novated Leasing providers appointed by the QLD Government

As an employee of the QLD Government, if you choose to take out a novated lease, you must use one of the approved novated leasing providers. It is recommended that you source at least two quotes and seek financial advice prior to entering into a novated leasing arrangement.
